Supporters of YDT provide assistance financially, and by giving their time and services. Each form of support is crucial to the growth and development of YDT.

Monetary donations given to YDT help finance productions and education programs such as the Summer Dance Intensive and the Pre-Professional Program. Donations also enable us to provide a certain number of scholarships to dancers with financial needs.

As YDT is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, donations are tax deductible and are recognized in the show programs for each production that year.

Without the hundreds of hours given by volunteers, YDT could not function. From costume design and preparation, publicity, administration, the making of props and their transportation, graphic design and being a board member – the work is varied, fun and invaluable.

We have a great team of volunteers but we could always use more.

YDT also recognizes the value of goods and services that are provided in-kind. These are varied and include transportation of sets and props using large box vans, dry cleaning to keep our costumes fresh and looking good, graphic design, and photography. Each service is of the highest professional quality and allows YDT to enhance its own professionalism as a dance company.
